Is it possible to remap hot keys? Ingame, in the options menu, you can't do this, as I realized.

My problem is that I play this game on my Labtop which has a german keyboard layout and no number block. The game only seems to be programmed for an english layout.

My specific problem is, that I can't find the counterpart key on my german keyboard for accelerating the time (+ button). Always playing on the lowest game speed is a torture. I already searched on google for english keyboard layouts so that I can see where the + button is located but I had no success by trying it out ingame. There is also no button ingame where you can simply click on to speed up time.

Another problem regarding this is, that I play on my Mac Book Pro, emulating Windows with Wine. So the small extra programs, you usually use for remapping keys on Windows, won't work.

I think my only chance is to figure out which is the right key or key combination on my keyboard or maybe there is a chance to edit some game data to achieve that.

Have you tried the ´and ß key? I too use the German keyboard layout and these two buttons change the game's speed for me.

Bump! I'd love that option. alt + various keys isn't great for building shortcuts.

Yes, but it does nothing. The only key that works is the # button which switches the game to the slowest speed and back again to normal speed. :(
