I've noticed in the missions that it's really easy for the tanks to run out of fuel. But I can't find the "Fuel Barrels" that were mentioned in the manual. Is there a way to locate them? Pressing the "Tab" key doesn't seem to help either.

To refuel vehicles first you have to find a can. Open the tank/car's inventory (I) and see if it has a can, if so use it on the tank.

If not check around the map by hitting TAB to highlight drums and such. Also check other wrecks for cans. Officer units come with jerry cans and can use them to fill up from drums.

Thanks for the info! I looked at that video, but it looks like it just shows resupplying ammo to the tanks. What do the fuel "cans" look like on the map? There's no picture in the manual, but I would think they would look like barrels. Are there any barrels in the first couple of missions of the Soviet campaign? When I pressed Tab I didn't see any on the map.

I'm sorry i don't own the game yet , just searched for the answer to your question .
It's been a while since I played the game and it's prequel Soldiers of WW2

There's three options:

> As mentioned try getting a soldier to pick up a fuel barrel and pour it directly into the tank

> Get a fuel can and siphon petrol from another vehicle - pouring the full can into the tank

> Abandon the vehicle and - if possible - seize & repair an enemy vehicle using a toolkit

Check your tank / tank leaders inventory for a fuel can

Or inside enemy tanks / enemy tank commander bodies using the examine feature.

It's all a bit fiddly managing ammo & fuel but that's the Men of War series for you!

The context icons give you an idea of what will happen.
