Since lots of players have problems beating it, i made a text guide.

I have played it enough to know every little trick of the game, if you follow this guide, it will make your gameplay a lot less painful and will help you with every problem you may face in a level.

There's also lots of info you probably would never know if you didnt read my guide. Since those are mostly technical.

This is an complete guide of sorts for MegaRace 3, here i will show you tips for surviving the entire game. Since there's low to noone information, i have made my ways to understand this game enough for you to complete it 95%.

PART 1: Practice
As the name says, its the practice mode, at the start, its not necessary to complete King and Ace, but after you complete Catastrophe and Arcade, it is required to unlock Career.

Every training includes the requirement to use a MODULE, however, you can skip this on Defense trial, just grab any energy pickups and rush your way trough the finish, they will never reach you.
There's also a brake key (Its CTRL or SPACEBAR if i remember correctly) which allows you to make your ship "drift", it can also make some pretty cool air tricks, which gives you medals.

PART 2: Arcade

Here's where things start getting hot. I will have a guide on every ship to use on each track so you can complete it with ease:

Mouse Gut: Preferably Royal because of its speed or Vulcain because its an all-round ship
Energetics Tube: TriNyx seems to be the faster and the more balanced on health of the trio, beign that G-Cricket is awful to control and The Saint has awful life stats.
Atomic High: Vulcain due to its all around capabilities, enemies will shoot you ALOT on this track, so remember to rush or keep your defense key ready at all times.
Toy Monsters: TriNyx is faster than the others, and since this track doesnt have lots of turns, its the best ship.
Mole Trap: Royal is the fastest ship, and can also hold a bit of fire, be careful on the tube and sections without track covers, you can fall off easily, especially on that Corkscrew after the tube.
Biotrix: Saphyr will be the best on this one, this track has a U turn right after the start, so remember to brake and drift your ship so you wont loose speed.
Nowhere666: Oh boy, this track isnt your average circut, get ready for the hardest track on the entire arcade, i used TriNyx, but the others are options too, as long as you manage to keep yourself with health and speed, this wont be a problem, watch your health at ALL THE TIMES, enemies will try to leave you behind and blow you up at their first opportunity.

This mode unlocks a Megaracer: Hyper-Ion

PART 3: Catastrophe

Get ready for the fight of your life, this mode is a pain in the ass and is the hardest mode on the entire game, however, with my hints, it will be 100% all the time.

Genetical Field, Megaracer of the track is G-Cricket: Things will start pretty rough, keep an eye out for those flowers, first is a pattern: left, right, left, left, try to rush trough the acid shooting flowers, as they will stop your ship and fuck your attempts to get an 100% Viewing Figures stats, also stay alert when the game says sometimes its time for a change, it will really need you to switch to the Defense mode
At the toxic bath, try to use the defense module as less as possible so you save the energy for the 2 later uses
First change: Rocks rain, just avoid them, drive on the borders or trough gaps. 'nuff said.
Second change: Its a rain that uses 3D models, drive trough the border fast enough (before they fall) and you wont have damage, but i also reccomend to use Defense incase you are afraid, try to dont use it all before the level ends.
Last change: The game doesnt warn you of this, after the health pickup, use the Defense module all you can, try to finish with most health as possible to achieve 100% on the level, the last rain of rocks will not hit you, unless your an slow prick.

Mutant Insects, Megaracer of the track is Vulcain: Hardest track of the Catastrophe, i dont know why i can never get 100%, but its something releated to the time, theres a bug in which if you pause the game, the timer will visually stop, unpause it after +- 1.30 mins and try to finish the track, you will see the Loser text will appear, and it will tell you to retry, however your best Viewing Figures was 100%, without completing it.

The case on this one isnt that, you must rush trough the track and kill the bug queen, simply watchout for the Falling rocks part, keep driving on the border when the game says that or try to get trough the gaps on their models, the hitbox wont hurt your ship. Those stalactites also follows a pattern, which is right, left, right, allowing you to zigzag them and get into the curve well if you drift your ship. Also be careful with the bug's eggs before the arena, be sure to stay alert to they all the times, i didnt detect its pattern yet.
Your viewing figures will be always 50%, independent of the time you take or with how many health you finish the level.

Atomic Tube, Megaracer of the track is TriNyx: Easiest one of them, this requires you to kill a Nanotech virus, if your playing on a fast PC, the virus will loose alot of health due to the game's physics bugs, just shoot it when you see it at sight or at the tubes, the faster you kill it, the highest viewing figures you will get.

Mouse War, Megaracer of the track is The Saint: Easy as hell, just shoot the viruses as fast as you can at the first sympton and keep yourself alive. 100% at sight

Atomic Impact, Megaracer of the track is TriNyx: Run trough each side (Doesnt matter, forward or backward), align with any of the 2 yellow atoms and launch a burst, it will be enough to finish it. Incase they run, be fast to align when they hit the other green atoms, they have to walk together, however, when one hits the green atom, they will run pretty fast, making you miss the shots. So be quick enforcer!

Nanodream, Megaracer of the track is Saphyr: The last level before endgame (YES! THERES AN UNLISTED LEVEL WHICH I DONT KNOW IF ITS CUT OR INGAME, FOUND THAT AFTER SNIFFING AROUND THE GAME'S DATA). Just sprint trough stuff, lots of zigzag trough those boxing gloves and heroes/dolls, however, boxing gloves order varies, first one is simple zigzag, second one is yes/no patterns, like this:

II YES > NO II
II NO > YES II
II YES> NO II
II NO > YES II

Be careful with the soldiers launching grenades, this track has no protection and if you dont have the sick drift skills, you will fall off easily, after the loop, it will give you extra time. Treaspass the tank via the second route, and if you got there fast enough, you wont have to bother with the Ghost train, the rest is: Sprint trough the finish

This mode unlocks a Megaracer: Xtra-Bee

PART 4: Career
This mode is easy as fuck, with all the hints i gave you, you already learned how to master every MEGARACER. Thus, this will be a walk in the park

For both modes, i selected to use the XtraBee. The modules i choose values speed over other attributes, they are usually:

Justice (If you unlocked it, if not, use the one that sacrifices less speed)
Titan
Celerity (For the first run, before you unlock other modules), N-Power (If you unlocked it), Hellcrush (If you unlocked it) and Shark (If you unlocked it). You can also use Ride (after you unlocked it) if you cant seem to be able to get any energy pickups, since it values Accel over Top Speed.

This mode unlocks the modules and a Megaracer: Manta-Ray

The last MegaRacer and Level (NanoTriton/NetEvilMind) are unfinished. The last catastrophe level was cut mid-dev and NanoTriton is impossible to unlock due to a mistake on conditions most likely.

BONUS INFO:
The game is coded in lua. If someone injects a dll to create some sort of lua console ingame, we can access the debug mode and play around with the entire game.
There's an sound that isnt used in any part of the game (Posted in the MEGA link)
There's also an (probably cut) skin powerup, looking at the Atomic High pic, you can see that the Vulcain isnt using its normal Red paintjob, but rather a blue/purple with flames one.
There's also different paintjobs for some ships (I have found 2 textures that matches Big's body, and other that matches MantaRay's body apparently)

OK Its 2016 now and I come back to this game ( I still have my Box edition that I bought on 2002 xD )
Till this day I didn't know about Last Track (Net Evil Mind) but I know that there is no link between this track and Nano Triton and I think that because I unlocked Nano Triton in past by finishing Nowhere666 on second place (that what I thought how to unlock it till this day :L )
