I can't see any way to launch the expansions through the main game. Is this not really a proper "war chest" version, where the game and the expansions are all separate?
I just launched spearhead by finding the .exe file in the games main folder, but surely this isn't how it's supposed to be done, is it?

Are you using GOG Galaxy? If you are, when you go into "Installed" and click on Medal of Honor: Allied Assault War Chest, click the button to the right of "Play" and go to "Additional Executables" and it will bring up the option to run the expansions.
