I just picked up Pacific Assault and am trying to get the fps above the 85 default max. I have followed the pcgamingwiki page.

that states to edit the following lines in newconfig.cfg:
set r_screenheight "XXXX"
set r_screenwidth "XXXX"
set r_refreshrate "XXX"

and then add the following line:

set com_maxfps 0

to unlock the Framerate. I did both by setting the refresh rate to 116 (mine is actually 120 but I want to have it a few below that), but my fps max is still 85, at least in the main menu. Is there anything I am doing wrong or anything else I need to do? I have a modern PC with nvidia gpu so I can definitely run it fine.

Edit: Nevermind, I realized I had a period after the maxfps 0 entry. I removed that and now I can get over 100 fps just fine.
