I'm running into an issue while playing through the Tunisia level in the Breakthrough expansion, specifically on the "Battle of Kasserine Pass II - Flush out the Bunker" part. After about a minute or so the level will crash and return to the main menu screen. Opening up the console shows an error which says: "ERROR: Level::AllocEdict: no free edicts". Does anybody know of a fix for this?

SOLUTION:
I overcame the issue by replaying the entire level again from the beginning.

Hi my friend, i have a similar problem: when I reach the end of the first mission of the game (Battle of Kasserine Pass I), when I went to get the jeep with the friendly soldiers, the game crashes and returns to the menu. Among other things that appears in the console is:

"error: Level:: AllocEdict: no free edicts
stop music
can't find 0.tga
couldn´t find image for shader 0"

Do you know how I can solve this problem?

Hey, same problem here. I tried to reinstall the game and running with WinXP compatibility, etc Playing just with default settings, no mods, nor changing anything, and still the same problem

EDIT: I have solved it doing the same: replaying the entire level again from the beginning

it will probably require a level restart, this error "cannot find image for shader 0" or something is usually caused by the cheat code "wuss" the one that gives all weapons, do not use that cheat code in the first level of breakthrough or the last level of spearhead (the ones that involve using tanks) because it will bug the game, you only need "dog" (god mode) code and you can run through fine
