Hello,

I have MOHAA and Breakthrough/Spearhead in the Warchest - one version for Windows (around XP-era) and another disc separately that was built for Mac.

I only have a Mac, so I tried to play the Mac version, but it comes up with an error that says it doesn't support PowerPC.

I saw online that there are ways to play a Windows game on a Mac but they weren't clear.

Any help to play either game?

Thanks!

Unfortunately I do not know any way to play the games you already own on disc. There might be some way to get it to work with WINE (https://www.winehq.org/), but not if you're using MacOS 10.15 Catalina (it's not officially compatible anymore) and in any case I'm not expert enough to be able to help you there.

If you own Medal of Honor Warchest on GOG, you could try the free Porting Kit by Paul the Tall. https://www.paulthetall.com/portingkit-2/. It is the easiest and most hassle-free no-cost way I have found to play windows games on my imac. I know it has a wrapper for Warchest, because I used it a few years ago to play that game on my Mac. As I said above, you will need the GOG version of the game though, I don't think it will work otherwise (and especially not with your own disc). In addition, I do not know for sure if that particular wrapper will still work with OSX 10.15 Catalina (I have not used Porting Kit since I upgraded to Catalina), but it's still listed on Portingkit so it should work. However, to use Porting Kit with Catalina you will also need to disable SIP (which is not a trivial thing in my opinion).

The only other possible solution I'm aware of is Crossover (https://www.codeweavers.com/products/crossover-mac), it's a paid app and I've never used it personally so I cannot comment any further about it.
