I am very mad right now.. whenever i click mohaa to open up the game.. it doesnt work and the screen goes black. It wont let me read or access the reason where the load up code occurs when you open the game... I need help asap and need this game to work>!!>>!>!
BTW i have a sony vaio version VPCEA24FM.. I dont know if it has an intergrated graphics card, I just know it runs an Intel graphics medai accelerator (GMA) HD Graphics..

The game does not run on laptops.

"Compatibility notice: Intel integrated graphics cards, and ATI Radeon X1800 cards, are not supported."

So chances of playing it on your Sony Fire starter is highly unlikely. Sorry.

I tried running Medal of Honour Allied Assault (all three desktop shortcuts) on windows 8 64 bit Toshiba satellite Z930 ultrabook. This has standard HD 4000 integrated graphics. Game would crash on launch (safe mode didn't help).

All I needed to get it running was an opengl32.dll file in the game folder.

I used the opengl32.dll in the 'fix' linked here:

HOWEVER I didn't need to run the direct X install parts of that fix process - just copied the opengl32.dll and everything runs at maximum settings at massive frame rates. It's great.

Hope if someone has similar issues this helps! Next test requires beer, BBQ and other humans with their laptops ;) w00t.

thanks for the help, mate. the game's working for me now haha.

on that note, i still can't get the game to run on the maximum possible resolution - it will turn to a windowed state, before gray-screen/freezing if i select anything higher than 1024x768. if it means anything, my current laptop's screen resoluation is 1366x768.

I'm running it on a desktop, but at the default setting (I think 800x600). I just tried to kick it up to the maximum setting and got an error from OpenGL, so I'm not sure it's possible to change. Well, it might be, but I wouldn't know how. Maybe it's in this forum already? Or you could start another topic.

You're very welcome! Just be careful about taking the resolutions too high; it seems to crash pretty hard and may require a reinstall.

Yepp, I just noticed it. 1152x864 or below works fine. But higher resolutions result ina gray screen on my desktop. But I'm happy with 1152x864, at least it's playable :)
