Hello, i'm trying to play MOHAA but the game crashes whenever I save a game. It only occurs if I have 1842x1036 resolution which is good with my TV monitor.

It doesn't crash if I play with 1920x1080 or 1280x1024 but I would like to use1842x1036 because it's good for this monitor.

I tried to run the .exe with administrator and tried several compatibility modes but they doesn't help. Weirdly those other resolutions work fine but the resolution I want to play the game doesn't work for some reason.

The event viewer gives something like this:
Faulting application name: MOHAA.exe, version: 1.2.1.280, time stamp: 0x3c87f0d0

Any ideas what might be causing this?

You are using a non-standard resolution and you said that the problem doesn't occur when using a standard one (1080p), hence I think you have already answered your question.

That said, I think you should set a standard resolution (a conservative resolution such as 1280x720 might be better suited for your needs) and then let either your graphic card or your monitor/TV to scale the image in order to fit on the display.
Thanks for the post.

I applied that resolution and set "adjust desktop size and position" to fullscreen and "perform scaling by: gpu" and now it works.
