It appears that hovering over people does not work on the Linux version. I know this is not the intended behavior because I was sort of able to run the Windows version on wine (but painfully sow and with missing/blanksilent movies, among other issues), where I can hover with highlighting. This means I can't click on friendlies to talk to them, and targeting is pretty much random (half the time I target the wall; I'm lucky if I'm even aming in the right direction).

So I have to ask: has anyone even played this on Linux? Am I the only one with these issues?

I am running the latest version at the time of writing (1.11). Apparently the game is now "done", so I guess I just can't play the game. Unusable on Wine due to my lack of desire to get cutscenes and perfformance working (I don't want to waste any time on Wine any more, ever). Unusable on native Linux due to lack of character targeting/highlighting (and the dot cursor doesn't appear, either), although I at least stumbled far enough to get to the first large gathering of people, but I can't hit the broad side of a barn or talk to any friendlies.
