There needs to be much more explanation of everything. As far as I can tell the in-game tutorials amount to a blocking pop-up box that gives a vague description of the current screen you're looking at. There are some tool-tips when hovering over things. There are labels on the screens but it isn't always clear what object they to which they are attached.
Then there is an in-game manual which also tries to describe how to use the current screen with only text saying "left", "right", "center". Most pages have some pictures which look like a free hand sketch of things you can see on the screen. Some sections in the manual have more pages but its not obvious they exist because you click on a page to turn it. Very skeuomorphic which makes little sense since I think you're supposed to be an AI running the whole show.
