Last MDK question (I seem to have all the questions recently) but I was wondering if it's possible to run MDK in windowed mode at original resolution. Basically, I said the same thing in the Fallout forum, how about we keep one thread that shows/tells us exactly how to get MDK to run in windowed mode (if it's even possible).
Thanks!

To my knowledge, MDK does not have a windowed mode option.
Hence asking if there's any way of doing it! Using other means.
Like what? Its not like you can make a game that doesn't have windowed mode functionality built-in run in windowed mode.
Pretty much the only way I can think to do it with this game would be to install it on a virtual machine that is already configured to run in a window. However, that would be a very cumbersome prospect and not really worth it in the long run.
Rightio. Good to know!
There's actually quite an easy way to do this.

I've used a special program called D3DWindower to window older games.
You can easily window MDK-- and I suspect any other game on GOG.com-- by:

*Clicking the blue plus symbol in the D3DWindower interface.
*Navigating to: GOG.com\MDK\mdk.exe
*Selecting the new Mdk icon in the interface
*Clicking the folder with tools symbol in the D3DWindower interface.
*Typing in the desired resolution
*Pressing the play > symbol with Mdk selected.

When you next run it normally, it should run in a window.
I've done this for games ranging from Fallout 2 to Prototype.

this tools seems to have some backdoors, any alternatives?
Running it with Nglide and using the D3DWindower described above was the only way to make it happen without the texture errors.

I've been running a Twitch channel for years and D3DWindower is the only reason I've been able to do so. Don't be afraid of it
