It is absolutely fantastic that MDK is on GOG and works great on XP/Vista/Win 7. There's just one tiny let down with this version of the game.
In the original MDK (which I owned), when you started the game, there were a few splash screens including one of Kurt polishing a metal sphere that was part of the "Shiny" logo and one that said Interplay or something like that. The theme song also started in a different place, which was sort of a haunting set of three notes or so on a piano-like instrument.
MDK is perhaps my favorite game of all time and I'm glad I can play it again. However, being so nostalgic over it makes me annoyed that the main menu was changed. Does anyone else find this irritating? GOG, could you perhaps update this? I understand you're very busy and you do great work, but perhaps if there's enough interest you could make it a priority...
