Something I learned much later than I should have is that the GOG Release of MDK seems to use a different intro splash and music at the main menu than the original CD release. I don't know why exactly it's different (maybe something legal idk), but I've decided to make a patch that restores the original for the GOG release.

Installation
1. Extract the ZIP
2. Place the MISC folder in your MDK directory. If done correctly it should ask you if you want to replace files. Do so.
3. Enjoy!

Something that might be worth mentioning is you only need the OPTIONS.BNI file to change the intro themes/videos, the other files from the MISC folder aren't needed (though some versions lack the menu slide show). Also the Steam version of the game already has the older (better) intro. Now if only there was a way to have the newer menu music with the older videos, especially now that the high quality PS1 soundtrack mod is out.
