Recently I got a bit nostalgic about good old TPS action-adventure games from the "golden times" and decided to dust off my Tomb Raiders from the attic. Instead, just so happened that I was talking with a friend of mine and he offered to borrow me his MDK, praising it to high heaven. That's when it occurred to me that a decade or so ago I actually gave that game a try in a computer club - never got past the second level but I remembered it blowing off my mind with its visuals and original concept.
So here I was - installing the MDK - no problem; rushing through the level - still OK, no bugs, no glitches, everything just peachy....until Level 5, Area 8 that is. Now, those of you that may have played it recently might remember that this is a place with 3 towers with upward air currents on top - they're supposed to blow your 'chute so Kurt can glide from on tower to the next and finally to the area's exit.
Now, the thing is - the air currents just doesn't seem to be able to lift me up high enough so I can reach the next tower - and therefore I can't proceed with the game. I tried google-ing it but I could not find a mention for a bug like this. My question is - has anyone experienced anything similar and have you found a way around it? Could it be just some special "chute-ing" technique that I'm not aware of (took me half the game to discover that sprinting actually gives u more distance when chuting because it's mentioned nowhere) ?
Any suggestions will be appreciated
