I'm trying to play the original MDK in Windows 7 Release Candidate (build 7100) but the colour palette is wrong. The hardware version has the correct colours but the textures flicker, and in the software version the textures are stable but the colours are wrong.
Any suggestions? I've tried running the game in XP compatibility mode but no joy.
Thanks

Just checked, MDK works fine on my PC.
Well you can try the usual - to update video card drivers. If this doesn't help you can try a "resolution screen fix" - open a window where you can change resolution then launch a game. Don't know if this will help with MDK but it works with Starcraft color glitches.
Found this here. http://www.sevenforums.com/gaming/2981-starcraft-fix-holy-cow.html#post27563
I really appreciate the reply, aleks.nt. The software mode worked great for me on Vista but isn't working in 7. The video drivers aren't so fantastic yet so I'll give it another try in a month or two.
