saxhorse: Yes, I know it's been a long time, but I'll bump this to say that I contacted support and was basicly told to fix the game myself. Did anyone find a solution on their own? It's stuff like this that makes me hesitant to buy a "GOG" and more likely , at least recently, to buy newer games on steam.
That's really frustrating, but I don't know why you think Steam would be any better. Steam support is limited to directing you to the forums and/or offering you a refund. I stopped buying old games on Steam because they wouldn't even run on Win 7. GOG games at least all run, but you may run into weird issues such as this one.
Newer games should run without issue no matter where you buy them, but I wouldn't expect either GOG or Steam to troubleshoot them should you encounter an issue (that's really the developer's / publisher's job).
As for resolving your issue, it's hard to pinpoint since it seems to be linked to hardware / drivers, but no one knows what's actually causing the problem.
Turning on v-sync should also decrease the issue. Another thing you can try is editing the opt.lua file with Notepad to change the mdkSetTurnSensitivity and mdkSetLookSensitivity settings for the character.
