so ive only just seen this game and wow i feel ashamed i never knew about it - and i call myself a gamer!

so ive just found out there is a HD version of MDK2, and wondered if it was worth getting? what are the differences? how do the fans feel about it? etc. ive not been able to find any discussion from the fan side.
or should i just get MDK see how i like it then get MDK2 and then MDK HD if i really am a fan by then? or skip MDK2 and go for the HD - just because?

It all depends on your personal preferences, really. MDK 2 HD is, from what I understand, basically MDK 2 with HD resolutions and a graphics update. I don't think they made any gameplay changes whatsoever, it's still the same MDK 2, so, if you check screenshots of both versions and prefer the HD version, you might as well get that one.

I would highly recommend getting MDK (for which there's no HD version, it was made by Shiny Entertainment, of Earthworm Jim fame, and, alas!, Shiny is no more, whereas MDK 2 was developed by BioWare, who also made its HD version), personally, I think it's much better than MDK 2. In a perfect scenario, though, you should get both the games, MDK and either the standard or the HD version of MDK 2.
