I still have both my original copies of these. My MDK1 disc came bundled with my Nvidia Riva 128 4MB (Diamond version) - Nvidia's first decent graphics chipset. I was running the Diamond Monster 4MB Voodoo 1 with it also - the ideal setup back then.
I would love to own the GOG versions as well. I think if GOG offered a package deal of both for $8.99 or $9.99 not only would I jump all over it but I think others would as well. MDK2 alone is well worth $5.99 but I really think "offering a few bucks off MDK1 if you get MDK2" type structured package deal would sell more of the 2.
