This game had a lot of potential but was really dragged down by the lackluster level design. Most stages were ok but tended to be boring and overly repetitive. The different play styles for the characters were interesting in 2 of 3 cases but were not enough to overcome the boring areas you had to play through. Some of the bosses were innovative, but several of them were extremely frustrating due to the fact that winning depended on careful jumping and climbing that the game's engine handles poorly.
The levels with the professor deserve a special mention for being absolutely awful. Supposedly the professor would invent things and interact with objects to overcome problems. In practice nearly all of the inventions are created in the first level and from there you are just playing a low-quality shooter/platformer with a gun that shoots bouncy toast instead of bullets!
