What were you doing in the game and can you trigger the error repeatedly?

Have you tried changing compatibility settings or processor affinity?

MDK doesn't use DOSBox, its the Win 95 version of the game.

In that case does the game have options so you can change how it is rendered? Overlay in dosbox is a graphics render choice, like opengl or direct3d. If you could change the video options to something else it may solve the problem.
1. Do an uninstall/reinstall of the game and see if that helps , that's quite a strange message.
2. Check the forums and GOG help topics for things to tweak in the MDK menu, e.g. "Smooth Shaded Stream" and such.
3. Make sure no background apps like keymappers, Xfire, Steam, whatever are interfering with the game.

I reinstalled the game and exited Steam, XFire, Fraps etc.. and it works perfectly!
Thanks!
