When I try to launch MDK2, all I get is a black screen (or window, if I try that mode). I've tried compatibility mode, various other settings, using only one core, giving it real-time and low CPU priority, etc. Nothing works.
My specs, if it helps, are:
HD4870 512MB
2GB DDR2 RAM
Athlon 64 X2 6000 ~3ghz
Vista Ultimate 32Bit

I've managed to get the game running in Ubuntu, through Wine, but I would prefer to have it in Vista, as I use it more often.
EDIT:
I managed to get it running on my work laptop, with Vista Business. I reckon there is a application or something that's interfering with it. so I guess I'll try a clean boot.

Managed to get it working in Vista. By reformatting and reinstalling.
Nice to hear that. You could try closing all non essential processes with the taskmanager to see which one fixes it. (in case you are bored ;) )
Could you mark one of the posts of this topic as solution ?

Now I can't recreate the error, so I've got no idea of what process it might have been...
And since I can't set my schizophrenic self responses as solutions, I'll just mark your post.
Great!
(this way it won't look if there are a lot of unsolved problems with MDK)
