I'm having a problem in MOO 2 with the mouse moving jerkily on the screen when it's moved either up and down or diagonally. Moving the mouse left to right seems to work fine. Using Win Vista.

I may not have expirienced that problem with that particular game, but I have had mouse slow down problems before.

Here is what I would do: try lowering the resolution of your game a bit. That way you would get less lag time and therefore have your mouse's refresh rate improve.

Also, perhaps you could investigate to see if your mouse is simply broken. (I know you might have already checked, but I had to mention it just in case.)

Just chiming in to back what gumbyfan said. setting your screen rez to 640x480 resolves the dodgy mouse cursor. If you can't / don't want to go that far, lower your rez a bit then run the game windowed. (lower the rez because it's fricken hard to see anything if your desktop rez is 1440xwhatever)
