MOO2

The game started just fine, had to use the settings listed here to fix the full screen issue and that worked fine. Played the game just fine.

The 2nd time I go to play the game, on the start up screen I see the credits roll but am unable to pick 'Continue' or 'New Game' etc. Uninstalled the game finally and reloaded it but still got the same issue. So installed on my 2nd machine, same thing. Everything worked fine the first time. Once the game was closed, and started a 2nd time I get the same results.

Running Windows 7. Not sure if this is a game, dosbox or Win 7 issue. The fact I uninstalled it twice now on the first system and is still did not allow me to pick anything on the first menu is worrisome.

Thanks in advance.

I have the same thing (on Win XP) - all buttons in main menu seem to be inactive. But I always click with right mouse button and everything returns to normal, all main menu buttons start to work. It is a strange glitch, but I've never bothered to report it.

That might be because when it come up the mouse it really registering being in the MoO2 window and right clicking actually brings your mouse into the window.

Not sure ... again could be an issue wherein you're not actually clicking within DosBox itself - i.e. the clicks are registering in Win7, not within DosBox. Try the right-clicking technique to bring your mouse into the program. If not, DosBox has a list of special keys here which include going in and out of fullscreen mode (ALT-ENTER) and capture/release mouse (CTRL-F10).

P.S. The mouse may not be captured properly in either case that the program is running in fullscreen or windowed mode.

Of course, MoO2 is starting automatically in fullscreen, somehow I forgot it is DosBox, you must click on it to activate it. Now it is obvious ;-) Sometimes you can forget even basic things....

hmm ... neither CTRL-F10 nor ALT-ENTER do anything either? Does the game run in windowed mode?
I'm having the same issue... love the game, but frustrating to have to restart all the time

Neither CTRL-F10 nor ALT-ENTER do anything? Are you using a special version of DosBox, for instance Boxer on the Mac changes some of the default DosBox keybindings - so it's possible your key bindings might be different if you aren't using vanilla DosBox.

Other than that I am not sure what the problem might be.
