Has anyone ever run into this? You send a few spies out to go steal from another empire (in my case sending them out to get things from the Psilons...) and you get a technology via the spies on the same turn that you complete research on that technology?

It happened in my latest game. The game keeps the "Choose Research"button on even though the research has been completed (via espionage as well as through actual research). When I go to select the new research, it says there's one turn to go. Selecting that to clear it and exiting, ends up with the game saying "Choose Research" and not Production or Fleets...

If I select another branch of research, it goes forward in the tech-tree, but the entry that has one turn is eternally stuck at that point.

That is a new one. If you are using UCP post the save and I will take a look.
