I only bought MOO1+2 on GOG a few months ago, and I was planning on buying this new remake. I'm kinda disappointed there's such a high pricetag, and it include the games I've already paid for.

Is there any opportunity for a discount for people who already own part of the bundle? Or maybe, can I ask for a refund from GOG for my original MOO1+2 purchase?

Didn't you get a 5% discount on NewMoO for owning MoO1+2?

Yes, after having spent $22.38* on MOO1+2+3 a few months ago, I did indeed receive a $2.80 (or 5%) price reduction.

I thought it was just a general sale at the moment, I didn't think this was due to MOO1+2+3 already being in my library. Even so, 5% wasn't really the scale of discount I was hoping for. If this new bundle costs $56.99, and I've already paid $22.38 in less that 6 months, I wouldn't think a $15 reduction would be asking too much. Or possibly offer a cheaper, unbundled version.

* I forgot in my original post I'd also bought MOO3 at the same time. Also, prices in AUD$.
I already bought MOO 1,2, & 3 before MOO:CTS..

I just chalked it up as 1 & 2 as a free bonus for those new into the franchise.
Want to play a complete game? Play MOO 1 or 2.
Want to play a game in progress? Play MOO:CTS.
There will be a stand alone version of Master of Orion on release day.
I already own the first three games in the MOO series and was hoping when and if I purchase this new Master of Orion that I would be able to gift the three games included with it to a friend.
