Hello, I am playing a Creative race, and have researched all the tech, but never see the option to build a Toxic Processor on a toxic world. In the research tree, it does mention it, but it is nowhere to be found in the Choose Production menu. Is this a known issue/bug?

Thanks!

Known bug which happens Occasionally. Corrected by UCP 5.7.

Bug.0.0.5.7: Completing research on a node, where you are creative, and have already received all the branch techs from trading, stealing, etc, can cause you to not receive the non-branch techs
Fix.0.0.5.7: Corrected this mistake, this does not fix any save, but should prevent it from happening again

I downloaded the game just a couple weeks ago, and the version it reports is 55.1.2.1.40421 (25 April 2017), and have the game set to auto-update. Is that fix not part of the regular install yet? If so, are we expected to manually patch the game ourselves?
The last Windows GOG version should be: 55.1.1 2.1.41258W64G (28/04/2017 12:18).

UCP is an Unofficial Code Patch available on nexus and steam workshop. Using it or not is your choice, but given that the developers have not even posted to their forums in over a year and a half, I would assume no more official patches are incoming.

Ah, I see now. For some reason in GoG Galaxy it reports a different version than is watermarked in the start screen. The watermark says 55.1.1.2.1.41258W64G (28/04/2017 12:18).

If the develpers aren't going to fix the still-existing bugs, this should count as abandonware - and they should release the source code so fans can fix the game for them. :-/ And also facilitate the creation of mods.

So is there any point for me to report bugs with the in=game bug reporting option?
I do not have an answer if anyone reads those in game bug reports.
