It's now even finished yet.
But I would bet there will be DLC. Maybe additional races. Maybe a campaign setting like the antarens of Master of Orion 2.
DLC are nowadays a too good oppertunity to make money. In the good old days such were know under extensions. And some were quit nice. Like Tales for the Swordcoast for example.
