Very, very odd crash. When starting a new game, the game will go to the loading screen, fill up the progress bar, but just sit there and never start the game. It only seems to happen on these settings:

1. Small galaxy
2. 5 AI opponents
3. Pre-warp setting

It's extremely frustrating. I guess the devs don't want you playing on pre-warp with 6 total players I guess.

Yep same issue for me using those settings. From my testing this does not appear to always happen but I have seen the issue.
