I don't understand anything.
Few years back it was like this: you buy the game here, download patch and go.
Now I have download, then in the bonus some Classic version? When I run the normal one, there is no version info, so I presume it is not patched? Then what is the changelog about?

And where are the patches? I can't find the links for them anywhere.

The GoG version, at least thru Galaxy, includes the regular game, as well as the Community Patch version.
When you start it, it comes up with a 2x2 window. Top left is regular old MoM as far as I know. Bottom left, the community patch. The two right squares just seem to open the main GoG webstore in your default browser.

Thanks for the help. I've checked the Windows version manual download on gog page and it's version is "CM 6.0.5", Linux one is 1.3.1. The Windows one is also much bigger (190MB vs 17MB)

So I presume I get non patched version for Linux. And (probably?) thanks to stupid Slitherine, the patch is nowhere to be found wild on the net. Luckily, I can at least extract the patched version from the Windows download. I pity the guys who have this game outside of GOG.

1.3.1 is the last Simtex original version released.

Not the absolutely latest community patch, but would get you close. Not sure how easy to patch on linux, may need a windows / dos VM or such.
