Hey all. I have recently downloaded MOM and am wondering how to get a editor to work with it? I have a couple of editors (1 dos, 1 windows) but I cant find the "savegame" files to modify them. Where are the savegames?

Savegames are stored with the game in the install directory.

Hmm? Maybe I am missing something but I cant find one savegame (Though I only have one...hehe). I am looking under the GOG.com - Master of Magic folders and there are no save games. The only other folder that I can open up is DOSBOX and nothing there. I cant remember where the savegames were on the original (15+ years ago) but I could edit them at will back then. I am sure that the file is here somewhere but I just cant seem to find it. Under what folder are the savegames located?

I'm running Windows 7 (x64), it may also be the same under Vista. I found the save game files in the location:
C:\Users\Name\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Master Of Magic
Where Name above is the user account.

Thanks. I have "User" for name and I can find nothing related to MoM here... Why is it so difficult to find the save game files for this? I have searched every where MoM is and can find nothing? Am I the only one with this problem? It is most certaintly not in the MoM diffectory. (well not that I can find anyway). I am not new to computers but I am baffled. Where are the save games under Vista? The search continues hehe...

If only I'd checked back here a day or so ago, I wouldn't have had to overwrite the save files that had some awesome heroes and crafted items. *heartbroken* I did try checking in the usual places for savegames in Win7, but didn't know about this VirtualStore directory.
To cut down on all that navigation, I'm making a shortcut right now and sticking it in the main MOM directory.
