... has been an absolutely fantastic experience. I never had the chance to play it over a longer period of time when I was younger. I always regretted that.

Now that I have a little more stability and wisdom under my belt, all I can say is WOW. What an outstanding time I'm having with Master of Magic.

Anyone out there that hasn't given this game a shot needs to do it. Trust me, I had a difficult time adjusting to the graphics at first, but the game is magical. It sucks you in. You forget about the pixels after twenty minutes. Four hours later you're calling off of work to keep playing.

The AI is kind of dumb, but for all that, the game is surprisingly deep. It's an interesting question, whether the limitations of the systems available back then resulted in a better game (less clutter, more focused design) or a worse game (simply unable to do what it could have done with today's technology...)
