The game crashes before the game even starts. I get a message about dosbox. Please help with this/

What does the message say? And what operating system are you using?

Ah. It could be a number of things. In your Master of Magic directory, try running the Graphic Mode Setup program - try any other settings other than whatever it's set to currently. Mine's on "Surface", for what that's worth.

Same Problem here! I have Win Xp with a 1600x1200 res.Tried to solve it by changing compatibility in the properties, but dont know which ones are ok.. doesnt run on 8bit color and 640x480. Please help

That is odd as I have Win XP SP3 Pro and it has always worked fine for me.
I have not needed to set any compatibility or anything works right after install.
