Is there a fix to allow you to play myrror races on arcanus?
the races seem really interesting, but the myrror landscape is really
depressing.

Not to my knowledge. You could restart the game a couple times until your starting town is near a tower that isn't too heavily guarded. Then capture the tower and move over to the other plane. That's my best advice.

Or you could play as a wizard with life magic, research Plane Shift as fast as you can and cast it on a settler to get him over to Arcanus.

Or play with dark magic and summon a create that has plane-shift.

But you can't use such a creature to get a Myrror race over to Arcanus.

Maybe not from the start of the game, but probably faster than you can take over a tower.
