Recently discovered this game, and I like it a lot, but there is one thing I'd like to do. When you create a custom wizard, you get 11 picks to choose spell books, character traits, and what have you. I'd like to increase that to the point where I could pick EVERY spell book in the game, and still have some points leftover for character traits.

Basically, I'd like to spend weeks on a game, researching everything, and treat my enemies to a wide variety of destructive abilities. >=) Any ideas on how to do this? I'm running Windows Vista and using DOSBOX to play this game, if that helps.
Within the game, when capturing nodes, caves, lairs and so forth, there is a chance that you'll find a spellbook of a particular type. However, your wizard is limited to a certain number of spellbooks regardless of however many were chosen at the start; thus, your project requires going into the game itself and playing with the system, something far beyond my ken.

Similarly, bigger maps, more opponents, and better diplomacy would also be nice. Unfortunately... (as would a one-player race-against-the-clock game)
Figured it out myself.

One can easily set up the game as per their liking, giving any wizard of their choosing as many spell books as they want. Like I said in the final page of that thread: Am I Happy? Oh you cannot imagine...

That's a neat looking thing, it is. I may have to try it out.
