I recently found a wand in a game I'm playing that grants the user "merging" as per the "merging spell". However, I can't find any information anywhere (not in the manuals, not on the Internet) as to what "merging" is. Has anyone else seen this?

Not seen that item, but the game's help text is notoriously inaccurate.

Merging is a unit ability that lets the unit teleport around. If you've ever fought Great Wyrms, they have Merging. Among its other benefits, the AI thinks Merging units are immune to Crack's Call, the Nature instant death spell that is the bane of my heroes every time I face Freya. Thus, the AI will never cast Crack's Call on a Merging unit, even though you can, and it works.

Late again merge for pcs doesn't work.
