I just purchased and start playing MOM and I like some features in it. I am however having problem with the AI. The AI plays horribly, starts with a few cities at starting, many troops at cities at starting, etc. I already used official patch 1.31 but I found no change in the AI. I used to play civilization and the AI is much better than this.

Do you have same problem? How do you fix this bugs?

TwoHandedSword: One caveat: DO NOT install the very latest version of Insecticide (v1.40o). Install the previous version (v1.40n) instead; it's far less buggy.

Insecticide is unlikely to be fixed/upgraded again in the near future, as the modder has been focusing their efforts on a replacement designed to better balance the game, v1.50, also being called Caster of Magic.

UniversalWolf: Check the options and make sure automatic battles (or whatever it's called in MoM) are turned off.

IIRC, Insecticide had that turned on by default for some reason.
