My account page says this game has been updated, but I can't find any notes about it. Usually a blue has a stickied thread for such things.

Or are release notes in the Galaxy thingy now?

Anybody know what's up?

EDIT: D'oh! I just found it. Release notes are on the game page now, apparently.

For those that are curious:

Operating system changes (12.05.2015)
We have added a Linux-compatible version of Master of Magic for all three languages (English, French, German).

Where do you see that info? I wish I knew where to look next time a game is updated, since tracking updates is a huge mess as it is.

So uh.

Why no mac? MoM is 100% compatible if you extract it with Wine and throw the files into Boxer.

It's so simple, Rafael! Go to your library, then click on the game. Then, click on the "More" dropdown, and choose "Changelog". Easy, peasy!

(BTW, that was sarcasm... the process is stupidly complicated. Hopefully Galaxy fixes this...)

That's what I do! I don't know why GOG can't also do this... Boxer is awesome!

No Mac?? Are you crazy?!
I think you can just run the Windows version on your mac using DOS Box for mac.

Simpler to extract the Linux tarball to Mac DOSBox. Also should be easy enough to stick in Boxer.

Oh. That's handy. When you said game page I thought you meant somewhere here. Thanks for the step-by-step.

Thanks. Personally I've never tried doing that, so I'm glad to have someone with more experience offer a better solution.

It makes sense that the Linux version would be simpler for Mac, now that I think about it.
