I love this!
I'm a big fan of RTS but I only like the macro, not the micro, and games like this are perfect for me!
I do wish the campaign was a bit longer but that's what sequels and expansion packs are for riiight?? :)
Enjoyed the story - Was enough to keep me motivated to keep playing without getting too bogged down.
I do wish I could save because I had some great setups and watching it shred hoards of zombies is really cathartic!
There are a few issues; When the game first ran it somehow selected 320x200 as a resolution so I couldn't read anything - Had to use the Force to fumble the res back to windowed mode and a more suitable size ;)
There are some glitches in the video cutscenes where lots of green shows through for some reason
And lastly the interface is really laggy and seems to randomly drop or buffer key inputs and mouse clicks when things get hectic (Which makes them even more hectic!)
I think most of these problems are just the usual downsides of using Unity - It just needs some optimization!
How hard would it be to set up some sort of library for user maps so other users can download them easier within the game? Something similar to the Creeper World series (Another excellent series of games if you want a macro-focussed RTS-style game!)
But this was well worth the purchase, and thank you so much for publishing it on GOG and not just Steam!
I didn't even wait for a sale to buy it (So I do hope you actually get more money from it that way!)
