Sry maybe I'm sounding lil bit dumb askin this question.
But do I get this right ?

" Mary Skelter 2 revisits the previous game by including the remake of Mary Skelter: Nightmares. "

Means the second one includes the first one completly anyway?
So there is no reason to buy the first one anymore??
Or "revisits" meants that there are some parts from the first just involved

I dont get it ^^ am I completly wrong with this ?
Thx for reading
Yeah, I am searching for the answer as well.
On Switch you are getting 2 games in 1 package.
There are some small changes to the ending in of the version of Mary Skelter 1 included with 2, there is a reason for this, but to explain why would involve spoilers.
Didn't they also remove the minigame from the Remastered 1st game, but it's uncensored in the regular version?

I have the original PC version on GOG, but will just start playing it soon as I just installed it today. I've had it for months after they put it on 75% off on a sale late last year.

Yes the original is uncensored but they censored both 2 and the remake.

Burzag: snip snip
Adding to Ross' reply but trying to avoid spoilers as much as possible, even though Mary Skelter Nightmares should be unlocked by default (since one of the DLCs does that), it's still recommended, even by Idea Factory themselves, that you play Mary Skelter 2 in its entirety first.

Also, besides that change to the ending Ross mentioned, Mary Skelter Nightmares had a major balancing revamp in this version, with difficulty being higher, certain enemies appearing where they wouldn't before and the layout for all dungeons having been changed.
So in the end this means I dont need to buy the first one anymore? Because I got the better version anyway with the second one?

Or is there any good argument to buy the original first one? Aside from another small changes to the ending
and some new layouts in dungeons? Or is it kinda complete new version of the new one and so the first one makes sense to play anyway? I understood that the second one is a superbig thing. Yeah.

Okay again, I asked: Does it still make sense to buy the first one?
This one
"Mary Skelter: Nightmares" from 2018.."

Sry for my questions again, but I need clear statements :)P
I'm getting Zelda flashbacks with the idea of new dungeon layouts.

So, uh... will the finale have all three with different layouts also of 1&2?

It depends if you want the minigame that was removed or not. Some people are upset about the censoring, some don't care. I picked up the game for 75% off before the sequel including the first game was released.

Iirc, Finaly doesn't include any of the previous games, only the 3rd entry of the series.

Also worth noting the removed minigame got added back and to enable it, you need to place a certain file in the game's root directory (Ghostlight provides the file themselves, but it's most likely just a .txt file renamed).
