Hi everyone,

We've made some small improvements/alterations to the game to enable things that weren't possible in the original version, so I thought I'd list these below, in case you were interested. ;)

• The left stick can now be used to maintain your balance on chains, as well as the right stick. This means that you can keep your playing postion more easily. ,particularly on mouse/keyboard controls in the default setup.

• In menus with scrolling panels you can advance a full page by using the A/D on the keyboard or left/right on the controller’s directional buttons. The same can also be accomplished using Q/E on the keyboard or the LB/RB buttons (bumpers) on the controller.

• By default, the game locks enemy animations to 30fps (many former console games do this.)
If you wish to unlock the frame rate for animation you can change the value of the ‘UnlockAnimations=0’ line within the ‘MarySkelter.ini’ file (this is found in the root of the game directory.)
Changing the ‘0’ to a ’1’ will unlock the frame rate animations and returning the value to ‘0’ locks it again.
We have left this locked by default as about 10 of the over 100 enemies in the game have minor animation issues when the framerate is unlocked and we are unable to resolve this issue as it's a hangover from the original art assets.

We wanted to add the ability to unlock the framerate to those who prefer it while not inconveniencing those who are happy with the regular fps for animation with these few quirky frames.

After consulting with the beta testers we decided adding the line to the ini was the best solution all round

So there you go. I hope these tweaks help improve the experience. Thanks for reading. :)
Thanks for the repost! I tried to make a similar post but Galaxy was acting up.

Changing the animation lock made a huge difference for me. Enemies were really choppy prior... now, they move like buckets of Merchan blood!
Another little tip. In the MarySkelter.ini file you can toggle LegacyInput=0 to 1 if you use a PS4 or similar non-xinput controller. You may need to re-bind the controls if you do though, they were a bit different from the standard xbox defaults.

The game still shows xbox button prompts if you do use this though.
