Hi, I read in the comments of the Remastered Edition of Mark of the Ninja that it would be free to current owners of the old version... Is this true? If so, I have not seen the update in my library...

Just wondering if I have to invest in the new version or not. When I purchased the old version I found out after that it wasn't even the Special Edition of the game, as the video said, so I don't want to make any more mistakes if I can help it. If it's going to be a free update I don't want to waste money.

Anyone know if that comment was legit, or if it was wishful thinking on that reviewer's part?

Thanks

The same thing happened a few days ago with Bloodrayne. It took quite a few hours before the upgraded version appeared in everyone inventories. (Personally, I was just about to buy the remastered when the new versions finally popped up.)
Wait a few hours to be sure before spending your money :)

Only Special Edition owners get it free. That's what it says in the announcement post:

https://www.gog.com/forum/general/release_mark_of_the_ninja_remastered_34c2b/page1

"If you own the original Mark of the Ninja game the discount for the game will rise to 75%, also until 1st December 2020, 2 PM UTC. If you bought Mark of the Ninja Special Edition or Special Edition Upgrade on GOM.COM in the past - you will receive the Remastered version of the game for free."
