I'm sorry, but I feel the game industry has gone mad? You price an Indie game at 40EUR for an early access title that needs lots of polish, then "discount it" for two weeks after launch?

I was really interested in the full release, but such business practices make me dislike the game before I even played it.

Give this one as wide a berth as the RMS Titanic should have been give ca April 1912. Otherwise, it's "Nearer my God to thee..."
From what I read, the fella is working on it for 7 or so years. Is 40€ so much? Or even less with the launch discount? Sure, the developer probably does it for fun as well, but they probably also need to make money, you know? The game is beautiful, looks very promising and the author seems to be determined to work on it. That's something I happily spent my 30€ on (or however much it was with the discount).
