Is this DosBox or ScummVM?

DOS v1, or DOS v2? Or both?

(v1 looks like the C64 version, graphically, v2 looks like the Amiga version, graphically).

Both versions included run with SummVM. The one that looks like the Commodore 64 is the original version and the other one is the enhanced one, both are PC versions, not C64 (would have loved this!) nor Amiga with emulator. Hope this helps. :)

I just started the games up. From the graphics, I am not sure if its possible to tell which system the games are. But the sound doesn't quite sound like PC speaker, most of all because the music has multiple parallel voices. Sitll, the launcher says "DOS". Strange.

That's because it IS the DOS version. ScummVM defaults to using PCjr for optimal sound, but you can switch to the PC Speaker if you prefer that. Basically, the higher quality sound was only available for Tandy and PCjr computers. Anything else, and it drops to the basic PC speaker. This was also true for Sierra's AGI games.
