I know one version was cut, was that only the NES port?

Yes, the PC ports (GOG includes two) have the same content as the original Commodore 64 version. Only the NES port suffered from censorship; they removed a naked statue, some "adult" jokes and other small visual elements that the Nintendo guys considered inappropriate, but nothing that affected the gameplay as far as I can remember.
