Are we supposed to know what the wizard Powers do?
As you can only use one wizard at a time and at expense, its difficult to decide which to buy not knowing what the powers actually do.

Once you have the wizard you get the info on the spells, but you are right, it should be clearer before purchase I will chat to the team about it.
