Anyone want to use the Majesty Expansion rule set for all Majesty Quests?
Maybe people already know how to do this, but in case they don't.
It is simple.
Go to your Majesty Quest folder, in my case it is (I am using drive G and steam version):
G:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Majesty HD\Quests
Make a back up of anything before you change it.
Open up the [quest name].mqxml with your favourite notepad editor (I use notepad+)
Replace the line:
<Dataset base="Majesty">
With:
<Dataset base="MajestyExpansion">
Save file and all is done.
Do this with each quest and all the standard Majesty Quests will work using the Majesty Expansion rules (ie you can build magic bazaars and sorcerors abodes etc).
It seems to work fine, I have only tested this with The Fertile Plain quest so far though.
Mausaleum worked, and a broken sewer spawned, magic bazaar and its items seemed to wkr as well.
