My volume is up and sound and music are of course enabled in options. Should I try a reinstall or can I do something before that?

Do you have the latest version installed? Also, make sure you run it as admin (right-click game's shortcut and select "Run as Administrator").

Thanks for posting this. There is a solution for this issue in version 1.0.3, which has not yet got live. I will let you know when the update is ready.

1.0.3 is now available! It includes the option to select what audio device to use. Hopefully it will solve your issue.
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Magicmaker\assets\data and open the file GLOBAL in notepad.
The line:
0 ;Audio device: 0 - default device, 1 - render in software, 2 - render in hardware
Change that first 0 to control what audio device Magicmaker uses. Test different audio devices to get the results you're looking for.
