This game is great, however, the constant clicking to hurl fireballs is not fun, nor healthy for my hand and my mouse.

Is there any trick/script/etc how to autofire on my mouse in dosbox? I run Linux, so clever bash scripts are also welcomed.

So far I've tried QJoypad, which has autofire, but controlling 3d fps game with gamepad is atrocious for me and I was not able to set the QJoypad correctly.

I don't have any clever hacks, but after a few levels you'll get enough spell experience to level up fireball to an auto-firing version of the spell, where you just need to hold the mouse button down and it will constantly fire until your mana is used up.

From memory you need to hold CTRL, then click and drag over the Fireball spell to select the upgraded version of the spell.
