As the topic says. The level seems exceedingly brutal... I've tried emulating this guy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UKDfI1MBAqA but I cannot seem to make the monsters destroy more than a level or two of the red wizard's castle...

Any strategies (I have a feeling the one in the video and a lot of patience is as good as it gets though) would be greatly appreciated :)

I'd hate to give up the game so close to the end, after slogging through so many repetitive levels, hehe

I just played through it, beat it on second try, but I also played this game back in the day. I figured out the red wizard method back before there were intertubes to show you what to do; it really is just a matter of zipping over to his castle and attacking as many wyverns as possible, and do it a few times. Yeah you'll die, but each time you knock his castle down a level you take his mana. You also really really need to set a jump point far away from your castle, with wyverns in your castle the best method is to teleport out, they get bored and leave, teleport back. Same deal if the horsies get pissed at you, get the hell out of your castle, let them leave, teleport back.
